In December 2020, I did a nominations-based giveaway catered to local creators. I wanted to support our community and small business which was so greatly affected by the pandemic. Enter, The Bagel Jar. I had the privilege of entering into their space (the kitchen at Public Espresso) and sharing their story. My call time was 3am which is a *late* start for them. They work through the night after their full-time work during the day. I learned all about the making of one of the key ingredients to one of my favorite things, breakfast sandwiches. I witnessed firsthand the hard work that Morgan and John put in every single night and left their kitchen equally impressed and inspired.
